Gentle plea to @British_Airways:
If you foresee a busy flight then pls reach out ahead of time & give passengers the chance to check in their small suitcases before security.
This "random" checking in of bags at the gate is not random at all.
And is just frustrating after a long day of meetings and your @British_Airways is already delayed.
P.S. Other airlines do not do this.

HNY! 2 Jan 2025 and I'm already missing the £2 bus fare cap @ArrivaKent charged me £5.60 for 2 adults for a few stops on the 85 from Mote Park into Maidstone, enough that I could be persuaded to switch to the car..... needless to say we skipped the bus back and walked instead!
