Young people should hear about what they can do, not what they can't.
The next Conservative government will help them into work, not leave them signing on the moment they leave school.

Britain can’t be a cash machine for the world.
We will stop benefits for foreign nationals and use the money to fund our defence.

I’m in Edinburgh and being asked a lot of questions about ITV’s Reform expose.
The reported comments show yet again why we’re not doing deals with Reform. We want Reform voters back, not Reform politicians.
Reform voters are being let down by the people who claim to represent them. Many of these people were the ones who let them down in the Conservative Party. We are now under new management.
These people caused a lot of problems and is why I say Nigel Farage has been doing my spring cleaning.
These problems will keep coming for Reform. Just as Farage is being investigated, so is Robert Jenrick, and so is Richard Tice. These problems will never end because of the kind of people they are - they don’t care about high standards of conduct.
That is why I am showing those voters who want to defeat Labour but left the Conservative Party that it’s time to come home. We are under new management, and you deserve better than this.

For nearly 40 years, Sir David Amess devoted his life to public service.
Five years ago, while doing his job, meeting the people he represented, he was murdered by an Islamist terrorist. I remember David as a committed colleague who cared deeply about his constituents.
Today, my thoughts are with David’s family as we remember his life and service.

Today, Labour, Reform and the Lib Dems refused to vote to scrap Inheritance Tax on family homes.
You worked for your home. You built it. Your children should inherit it, not the taxman.
We'll scrap Inheritance Tax on family homes and reverse Labour's Family Farm Tax and Family Business Tax.

Andy Burnham is too busy appeasing his MPs and shying away from difficult decisions to give our country the leadership it needs.

I invited women from Piddington to Parliament because Labour isn’t listening to them.
Their village of 300 faces over 1,200 male illegal migrants on its doorstep. Meanwhile, Labour is handing out leaflets explaining to these men that rape is a crime. You couldn’t make it up.
Today we forced a vote to stop it. Labour and the Lib Dems refused to back us.
Women should feel safe in their communities. Conservatives will leave the ECHR so we can deport illegal migrants instead of forcing small villages to bear the consequences.

SHOCKING: Nigel Farage admits he would hand over the Chagos Islands.
@KemiBadenoch is clear: The Chagos Islands are British, the Falkland Islands are British. There can be no negotiation.
🚨Exc: Nigel Farage has said he would give the Chagos Islands to Donald Trump in return for silence about the Falklands
He told a podcast that, if he were PM, "I'd have gone in and said, ‘Right, you know what mate? Chagos, it's yours.
"Diego Garcia, in perpetuity, the most strategic American military base in the world... In return, just please stop talking about the Falkland Islands"

Our veterans must not be political pawns.
Labour’s Troubles Bill could drag them back through the courts, decades after they served in Northern Ireland.
They did their duty. Now Labour must do theirs and scrap the Bill.

Pollster note: The changes are within the margin of error, so it's difficult to distinguish signal from noise, but I suspect there is some degree of "conference bounce" there, with the Tories getting a boost from their coverage, and Labour declining again as the temporary impact of their own conference fades.
It may well be a temporary Tory boost, but for the record it means this is the first time that we have had Reform back in third place since 2024 (it’s technically the first time since early 2024 – but we didn’t poll between the election and January 2025 while we were reviewing methods, so we don’t know exactly when Reform overtook the Tories).

The busiest job in Westminster is running after the PM with a dustpan and brush, sweeping up whatever he said five minutes earlier.
Implying the 2016 referendum was illegitimate, until the entire govt comms machine scrambled to clarify what he said. Opening up a Scottish referendum, which his team had to shut down. Telling the WASPI women they deserved recompense, only to backtrack.
Burnham is all over the place, making statements he clearly hasn’t thought through.

Peace in Ukraine is easy - Putin can stop his invasion any time.
President Zelensky and the Ukrainian people are on the frontline fighting for the right of free people to resist tyranny and murder.
America's history of fighting for freedom is a beacon of hope to the world. Presidents Rooseveldt, Eisenhower, Reagan and more have stood up to tyrants.
They remind us why we support the people of Ukraine.

A stronger economy. Lower taxes. Secure borders. A country that rewards work, backs families and defends itself.
That is the Britain that the next Conservative government would build.
As @KemiBadenoch rightly puts it, the Lib Dems are not a serious party.
Just as the Greens enter a leadership crisis, not one to be left out, the Lib Dems delve into one too.
Their leader’s clownish behaviour was always going to wear thin, as was their lack of any policies.
Confirmed: Lib Dem Treasury spokesperson Charlie Maynard resigned this morning (as reported first by @PickardJE).
There's been a big row in the Lib Dem WhatsApp group over the move - and talk of a showdown at next Tuesday's parliamentary party meeting.
Daisy Cooper, the Lib Dem deputy leader, has quickly moved to back Davey, in a bid to quell any further leadership manoeuvring.
She says in a statement: "The vast majority of our MPs support Ed, want him to lead the party into the next election, and are furious at this distraction."
She adds: "We Liberal Democrats are the last line of defence against a Reform UK government, and Ed is determined to lead a strong and united party into the next general election whenever it comes.
"As Ed said at conference we are in the fight of our lives against the right who want to turn our country into their version of Trump's America."
