so excited to learn more about your research and to have you post some blogs for our Minerva Press special issue in _Romantic Textualities_(out in fall 2019)
#MinervaPress novels crack me up sometimes. A carriage overturns, blood pours forth from a wound and to stem the flow: '"A lady's garter this moment - none else will do;" [cries a handsome Duke] and in a few seconds he was presented with three' 🤣

I absolutely loved your paper today and your work, along with the entire panel's, made me think about the Bechdal test in a much more expansive way. Can't wait to read your book, _Servants and the Gothic_!

I admire the way that you use our own present modes for life writing (like the writers that interest you as a scholar) to try to initiate change, in your own life but also to illuminate a larger problem in Surrey, and elsewhere...

Rather on cloud nine, having gotten my copy of _Minerva's Gothics_ in the mail yesterday! (it is so lovely, thanks U of Wales P!)- a strange feeling, to look at my two children, Emma 10 and Simon 1, who literally book-end that project, from dissertation to final edits. ah life
What a delight to see this lovely message! Thank you Angela. Your message reminds me of how collaborative our work is, even when we are writing in what feels like isolation--your own work on the gothic is part of what led me to get excited about Minerva novels in the first place!
I just received an editorial board copy of @ElizabethNeima3 beautiful book Minerva's Gothics: The Politics and Poetics of Romantic Exchange, 1780-1820, published by @UniWalesPress . Congratulations! The topic is hugely important, and I can't wait to read it!

Uni of Wales Press has been amazing to work with, from the initial queries through the copyediting process! I'm thrilled to have my book as part of their literary gothic series. Thanks so much for publicizing it!
