Hello everyone, I’m habibiiyt31 the cat, and I want to share how my journey with @GenLayer started.
I joined the GenLayer Discord on April 9, 2025.
At that time, I was just exploring the community and joining different events. I spent a lot of time chatting in the Indonesian, Turkish, and Chinese channels, meeting new people, and slowly getting to know the GenLayer community.
By May 2025, I became an active member. A while later, @RuzgarFlns offered me the opportunity to become a Global Moderator.🫶
There’s also a funny story behind the name “habibiiyt31 the cat.”
Before that, my name was simply “habiiyt31”. One day, @__KimMinJae__ made a random vote in Discord, and after my side lost, my name was changed to “habibiiyt31 the cat”. 😂
I ended up keeping the name, and it has been part of my identity in the GenLayer community ever since.
I also met and spent a lot of time chatting with people like @Elixir577, @doja_web3, @stargirl_hills, @Aezakmi_x, @il3nnn, @lizhi_iii, @Dreybaba1234, @Decatilion_, @unstopable_111, @__KimMinJae__, @AyomikunCFC, @Andrew62905879, @K1st_Capital @mewtvx many others.
Some of my favorite memories aren't even about building or events. I had my birthday celebrated by the GenLayer community twice, in 2025 and again in 2026.
Those moments might seem small, but they meant a lot to me. They made GenLayer feel less like just another online community and more like a place where I actually knew and connected with people.
Then, in October 2025, I joined the GenLayer Portal and started exploring another side of the ecosystem.
I began trying to build projects with GenLayer, experimenting with different ideas, and learning through the process.
After that, I continued exploring and joined the Bradbury Hackathon and later Agent Tank.
Looking back at where I started, I honestly didn't expect my journey to go this far.
I joined a Discord server on April 9, 2025, simply because I was curious.
From there, I became an active member, met people who became part of my journey, became a Global Moderator, started building, and eventually joined hackathons.
What kept me exploring wasn't just the technology. It was the people, the community, and the feeling that there was always something new to learn or try.
I think that's probably the most important thing I learned from my first step into GenLayer, you never really know where one small step can take you.
For me, it started with joining a Discord server.
And I’m still here, still learning, still building, and still exploring.
To everyone who has been part of this journey so far, thank you. ❤️

if AI can make millions of small decisions for almost nothing, the bottleneck eventually shifts.
It becomes:
“Can we trust this decision enough to let it have consequences?”
For something trivial, you probably don't care.
An agent deciding whether to retry an API call doesn't need an elaborate verification process.
but change the context.
• An agent completes a job and wants its escrow released.
• Two agents disagree about whether the work met the agreed terms.
• A protocol needs to determine whether an event actually happened.
now the decision isn't just information anymore.
It changes who gets what.
@kstellana's post about decision models becoming cheap highlights something I find really interesting about GenLayer
its approach isn't to assume that one AI's answer is automatically correct.
A leader proposes a result, other validators independently evaluate it, and the network reaches agreement based on the rules defined for that decision.
and if someone thinks the result is wrong, the decision can be challenged through the appeal process, bringing in a fresh validator committee.

So the interesting thing isn't simply that @GenLayer can use AI to make subjective decisions.
It's that subjective decisions can be turned into a process for reaching shared outcomes.
Cheap intelligence means agents can make more decisions.
But when those decisions start moving money, settling disputes, or changing state between parties, you need something beyond intelligence.
You need agreement.
that distinction in Albert’s post is exactly why I think GenLayer’s approach becomes more relevant as AI gets cheaper.
