During his speech, Rafa will address the evolution of Social Action in the mining sector based on a comparative analysis of frameworks such as GRI 14, ICMM and Tin Code, as well as different cases of Andalusian metal mining. The offical MMH events have kicked off. Spain's largest mining event, which offically starts next week, kicked off in style at the Colón Hall of the Seville City Council. Antonio Martín and Rafael Salgueiro represented our operating company MESPA at this kick-off ahead of the largest events in the European mining sector. Why is the LME #tin price holding strong at US$54k/t despite macroeconomic uncertainties? Well in the last 6-months LME inventories have dropped ~50%, from 8,675t to 4,480t. The world needs more tin, especially Europe and the USA which have zero primary tin production.

The Iberian Smelting business continues to grow in size, scale and prominence.
