So you want to make hadrosaurs? A🧵
I'll make this amply clear before diving into this, but I am NOT a professional. Should one see this thread and find something to be incorrect, take their statement over mine.

I know that going back to the Cretaceous for the next season of Prehistoric Planet isn't the most desired outcome, but I'd love it to show some lesser-featured places if it does.
I personally want the Kitadani formation to see how awkward running Megaraptorans would look.
Maastrichtian Hokkaido would also be pretty cool, getting to see Kamuysaurus get brought into the light on a slightly larger scale and all. Still so confused how such a well preserved animal from a place that famously preserves terribly got overlooked...

basal metris made like 2 weeks ago between art comms that i forgor to post (teleidosaurus, zoneait)
Maiasaura is a rather interesting animal and also a great example for quite a few things! Hadrosaur survival strategies, make sure to look at things from a front angle (It doesn't have horns), and that there are exceedingly few definite answers in Paleontology. Have fun.

Can finally share this! 2 sets of Aetosaur (?) Scute impressions from Connecticut. Two new skeletals were created accompanying this diagram describing the taphonomic circumstances of the fossils (will post soon) TY @Adasaur1 & co for bringing me on! Link below->
Feels like the gears are finally movin' right again after a long time, so I'll be trying to get this critter finished up by tonight. We'll see how it goes but I've got high hopes.

There are enough resources out there tho!
Skeletal reconstruction of Gavialis gangeticus, the indian Gharial, the shortest-limbed and most aquatic of all modern crocs, and like them, it was rather small-headed (with juveniles of 1:5 DCL/TL, to 3m+ adults between 1:6.3 & 6.8)
