Government investment is helping strengthen critical minerals supply chains, but refining capacity remains limited across North America.
Building that capacity is essential to reducing reliance on overseas processing and supporting long-term supply security. Electra is helping address this gap through the construction of its North American cobalt sulfate refinery.
Last month, Electra attended DIBX 2026 in Philadelphia.
Strengthening the North American defense industrial base requires secure access to critical minerals and the domestic capacity to process them. Important progress is being made, and the momentum continues to build.
