I teach students to set small, attainable goals when focusing on a task. If there isn't a goal to work towards, I find that all learners struggle. #optimalist
A2: When I was in the classroom (teaching 4th & 5th graders), I definitely saw a decrease in attention and focus in the afternoons, especially if we didn't have a built in special, brain break, recess, etc.. #optimalist @Scandela9 @getfocusable
A1: I think students need to know how their brains work. Having honest conversations about moving from order to disorder and taking breaks, for example, is key! #optimalist
