“Attack life, it's going to kill you anyway.”
- Steve McQueen
Steve McQueen earned the nickname “King of Cool” by bringing his natural charisma, rebellious attitude, and real-life passions to the screen. After a difficult and defiant youth, he transformed his restless personality into a remarkably successful acting career during the 1960s and 1970s.
Beyond Hollywood, McQueen lived with the same fearless energy seen in his films. A passionate motorcycle and sports car racer, he frequently performed dangerous stunts himself. Iconic roles in Bullitt and The Great Escape helped define his anti-hero image and reflected his determination to live boldly and on his own terms.

I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.

I see a lot of consternation about Warsh and his agenda but I'll say it, I fucking like it.
The Fed has gone from no statements, to statements, to statements and speeches, to statements, speeches and alternate pressers, to statements, speeches and pressers at every meeting.
You cannot complain about the Fed suppressing vol and be upset about potential changes to the current over-saturated framework at the same time. Even if the end result may not work!
I'm not saying he's right. But I'm saying as a trader, i welcome the opportunity set and risk that comes from having to debate rational policy through market price action. Strap in, put on your big boy pants and let's fucking trade this shit.
Crude still 90+, Us and Iran are still blowing the shit out of themself. Even if the fed is on hold, if inflation hits we ain’t save from a hike on sep-dic?
I don’t know if I’m missing something but I like the idea of this rebound towards the month end balancing could be a buy.
Agreed but so hard to see since crude still on 90+, plus risk on inflation still around.
I still see dollar going towards 103 Zone
The U.S. Dollar Index has now failed for a second time to break out, which raises the odds of a sharp pullback, especially given how crowded the long-dollar trade is.
If so, that would be bullish for precious metals.
I discussed this in my update:

Anthropic has been openly struggling to keep up with demand for a while now, throttling limits and dealing with capacity constraints.
Kimi just stopped taking new subscriptions altogether to protect the experience for existing users. Their GPUs hit the ceiling within 48 hours of the K3 launch.
Two of the biggest names in the space and both are compute constrained. Feels so early in this AI world.
