NJPW Strong could've been something great but covid and a few other factors playing into it sadly destroyed that plan. Unfortunate outcome but it was just a matter of time.

COVID was one of the most damaging things to ever happen to professional wrestling. The business was in one of the healthiest places it had been in decades at the start of 2020, with New Japan, TNA, & ROH being viable, standalone options alongside WWE & AEW. All gone in one fell swoop. New Japan never recovered financially, while TNA & ROH got subsidized. A damn shame.

Darren Young visiting the PC makes more sense now but that's unfortunate. The pandemic really ruined something that could have special for decades.

Hideki Suzuki could get the Creeds booked for a tour in AJPW, if that’s something they wanna do. When that offer inevitably comes, I think they should take it as invaluable learning experience.

The Creeds were wasted so much, personally I would like to see them in NJPW.

The Creeds have left WWE, Fightful Select has confirmed. It appears to be a mutual parting of ways as their deal has expired.

NJPW announced that New Japan Pro Wrestling of America will cease operations and enter liquidation “As NJPW continues to optimize allocation of management resources in a rapidly changing business environment, the decision was made to close the subsidiary, which was founded in 2019. Moving forward, NJPW events in North America will continue to be held with the full backing and resources of the TV Asahi group, as part of a new chapter in NJPW's ongoing global expansion.”

The beginning of the year started so good and even after Wrestle Kingdom 30 it looked promising, but the last sprint to Wrestle Kingdom 31 is really questionable.
