Hal blinked for a moment.
“ Uhm...what-? ”
He took the man's hand and stood up, “ I suppose...so? Yes, with my mother...? ”
“ Gah-! ” Hal slammed into the ground, staring up at the the major with a terrified glare.
That revolver...that confirms it, alright.
“ ...H-Huey...was my father's name. ” He hissed, “ I know who you are...but it doesn't make any sense...-! How are you so...? ”
He was mid stride when he heard that name.
Hal turned, dropping his briefcase.
“ What did you just say...? ”
He crossed the room, grabbing Ocelot by the collar.
...he looked familiar. But why?
“ Who the hell are you-?! ”
“ Trust me, I understand complicated husbands. ” He muttered, looking down at his wrist.
Hal swallowed, “ ...but complicated usually means there's real love there. So hang on tight, okay? ” ⤵
“ She's 19, but she's already smarter than 96% of the country. Not that she's got much competition... ”
Hal pulled out a photo of her, showing it to Junji. “ Her name is Sunny. ” He smiled, “ She'd like you, with that crazy get up of yours! ”

“ Visiting my daughter. She's in the city, but right now she's working on a new project...so I've got some time to kill. I figured I'd explore. ”
He glanced over at her, “ People watching is fun too, though. Mind if I join you for a bit? ” ⤵
“ Good afternoon. ” Hal says, sitting down next to her. “ What a coincidence, bumping into you here! ” He chuckles, adjusting his glasses.
He pulled out his laptop. “ Going somewhere? ”
Hal smiled, adjusting his glasses with a soft chuckle.
“ Thank you. But sometimes, amazing isn't all that great. Sure, I could make robots and devices to help people in need...but at the cost of potentially making something dangerous. ” ⤵
