In one of her most powerful roles to date, Kajol ventures into the realm of mythological horror in this chilling new chapter from the World of #Shaitaan. Ambika (Kajol) is leading a happy life with her husband Shubhankar (Indraneil Sengupta) and daughter Shweta (Kherin Sharma). The real journey start as Ambika and Shweta visit their ancestral home on the insistence of Joydev (Ronit Roy) as they plan on selling off their ancestral house. Director Vishal Revanty Furia of #Chhorii fame has somehow managed to create an element of Suspense and Horror but had he done some smart editing by limiting the overstretching of certain sequences he could have maybe achieved the finesse he was looking for. The track #KaliShakti is very impressively conceptualized and quite electrifying. Delivering a message of ultimate triumph of good over evil. At the heart of the track is Kajol’s intense dance performance. Her movements, soaked in sindoor and symbolic of Maa Kali’s unstoppable energy, evoke devotion and a mother's will to go to any length for her child. The visuals are rich with traditional elements like red drapes, burning flames, and dramatic lighting, creating an atmosphere that is both sacred and haunting highlighting The visual grandeur created by the Cinematographer Pushkar Singh. Usha Uthup’s commanding voice adds a soul-stirring depth, echoing like a divine call. #KaliShakti Song embodies Jab jab Daitya khada hoga,tab tab #MAA sarvanaash karegi🔥 Raktabeej yet again becomes mythical monster whose unique characteristic of replicating himself from every drop of blood that fell from his body, comes into play here as well. Kherin Sharma as Shweta comes across vulnerable and really impressive. Ronit Roy as usual fits in with the given role specifics and performs with equal ease. Indraneil Sengupta with his role limitations does well as Gopal Singh (Bikash) and Dibyendu Bhattacharya (Bimal) Rupkatha Chakraborty (Deepika) and Surajasikha Das (Nandini) put in their added support to the narrative. Amar Mohile's effective background score and R P Yadav's action gets synchronized very well with NY VFXWaala's VFX.
