AK Bets will likely receive its online Irish licence very soon.
If the changes to tax rates proposed by the Social Democrats come into play AK Bets will cease operating a Sportsbook for Irish customers and become a Casino only brand in Ireland.
I would be unwilling to offer a Sportsbook with such appalling odds to absorb that level of tax on Sports bets.

So after much back and forth for Dave, we have an answer.
Apparently the Prettylady win had two rules 4s at 25p and 30p despite being listed on SL and RP as 25p only.
And to make matters worse Dave asked his local Ladbrokes and Hills shops which both confirmed 25ps.
A very confusing situation, maybe a tad unique, and I appreciate all the kind responses, and wish I never thought the worst of Betway on this

My mate who I have a beer with regularly loves a bet, usually lucky 15s at a weekend or if he finishes shift early on a daytime having been on earlys.
Week or so ago he was made up to hit a cracking 3 winners in a lucky 15 on @betway . When he told me the winners over a pint, and the prices I wondered how he was paid so little.
Next day after hangover subsided I thought I would look into bet and first found was a couple of rule 4s to complicate things further.
Anyhow I worked bet out below as this, am I wrong with my working out before I write a blog use my mates receipts and transcripts.
The bet was a 52p e/w lucky 15 as shown
1 Nobelo. Won@33/1
2. Chymbulak. Lost
3. Pretty lady. Won@18/1 rule4 25p
4. Premier view Won@12/1 rule4 10p
Taking into account the rule 4s, the win part of this bet pays £3610.36 with a further £87.22 for the each way element.
Total of £3697.58
Mystified that @betway only paid out £2692.55 !!
The difference is £1005.03.
Help appreciated if you check my rule 4s please
Retweets and Help would be hugely appreciated, because it took him 30 mins to get past the AI assistants on Live Chat then they escalated to traders at which point they said amount was correct with no workings

Very little difference between black market and regulated market.
When I talk about the industry I get those in the pockets of the industry telling me about the black market and how much worse it is etc. it’s all BS.
