Happy Columbus Day! The voyage Christopher Columbus made in 1492 connected the Old World and the New, forever changing the course of history.
I’m proud to celebrate the historical contributions and cultural influence of Italian-Americans here in New York.
I was proud to join firefighters, families & fellow New Yorkers at the 29th Annual Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Albany, where the names of 53 brave individuals were added to the memorial wall.
These heroes made the ultimate sacrifice to their communities. Our hearts will always be with the families & loved ones left behind.
Honored to have the support of the Nassau County Police PBA.
I will always stand up for our law enforcement professionals. Their daily sacrifice keeps our communities safe. Their courage & professionalism should never be taken for granted.
Absolutely disgraceful. Deranged lunatics chant in support of terrorists who slaughtered 1,200 Jewish men, women & children.
Regrettably, New York City can expect more of this kind of behavior.
More than 200 pro-Hamas protesters disrupted a candlelight vigil in New York City's Union Square, taking over seats reserved for mourners and forcing organizers to delay the memorial.
The demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and shouted "long live Hamas" as families and supporters gathered to mark three years since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel that killed approximately 1,200 people.
NYPD officers stepped in to separate the groups while mourners continued lighting candles. | @AmericaNewsroom
Antisemitism & hate crimes against Jews are rising in NYC.
Look no further than Gracie Mansion to understand why.
Mamdani's tone-deaf Oct. 7 post attacks Israel for 'ongoing genocide,' sparks outrage trib.al/5njFzQk
Three years ago, Israel suffered its deadliest day since the Holocaust. On the anniversary of the October 7th terrorist attacks, let us remember the men, women and children who were killed, and the families whose lives were changed forever.
We stand in solidarity with the Jewish community and remain committed to ensuring that such evil is confronted and never forgotten.

It was an honor to stand with some of NY’s bravest at the annual Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Albany.
There were 53 names added to the wall of heroes – each name a symbol of extraordinary courage and sacrifice. To the families, loved ones and friends who carry their memory forward, we owe you all a tremendous debt of gratitude.
We will never forget their sacrifice or bravery.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the message is clear: Early detection saves lives.
We stand united in the fight against breast cancer by honoring the survivors, supporting those currently fighting, and remembering loved ones lost.
The Attorney General commenting on a case before her investigation starts disregards a basic legal standard even first-year law students understand.
The wave of criticism is rightfully deserved.
When A.101 was introduced, I proudly supported it and was the first Republican co-sponsor in the Assembly. New York needs to close the voluntary intoxication loophole and make it clear that we stand with survivors. It’s time this bill moves forward.

Make no mistake the failure by New York to address Medicaid waste, fraud and abuse contributes directly to the state's bloated budget and growing affordability crisis.
Did you know: New York spends more on Medicaid than Florida and Texas combined! That’s despite having substantially fewer people living here in NY.

Securing and providing clean water for Long Island families has continuously been a top priority during my tenure as an Assemblyman.
That includes sharing support for strategic investments to upgrade and maintain drinking water and wastewater infrastructure.

The taxes are too damn high!
As former Ranking Minority Member of the Assembly Ways and Means Committee, I had a front-row seat to the outrageous tax-and-spend mentality in Albany.
Albany is taking too much from the pockets of hardworking New Yorkers to fuel out-of-control spending.
Ask yourself, do you really feel like you’re getting what you paid for?
I suspect most will say no, and that’s the problem.
Taxes and spending ever upward is Kathy Hochul’s motto trib.al/dlsUROs
We warned you about NYC socialism spreading upstate.
Turns out it's Kathy Hochul driving the bus.
NEWS: New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) says she asked U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) to campaign upstate.
Hochul tells @WNYC she will be appearing with AOC before Election Day.

Today’s historic reopening of Belmont Park is a long-anticipated welcome back to the tradition of racing here in Nassau County.
A staple of Long Island, the expansive improvements have secured the venue as a modern sports entertainment and racing location for years to come
The silence at the historic Elmont racetrack ends when Belmont Park reopens with a brand-new, gleaming facility and a full slate of races after undergoing 3 years of renovations.
For nearby businesses that have long depended on Belmont to bring in customers, and a community craving the return of world-class horse racing to Long Island, waiting for the $555 million renovation to be completed has been the hardest part.
