Data centers are critical to a vibrant Main St. Protesting them doesn't fight Big Tech; it hands them even more control over the infrastructure small businesses depend on.

Florida already did this. It's called SB 484, and utility tariffs implementing it are due tomorrow.
How about we don’t let utilities pass on costs to consumers due to servicing hyperscalers so that the citizens have more resources to invest/save/spend as they see fit?

A single hyperscale data center could be a real fiscal lifeline for some of Florida's most constrained counties. @FloridaTaxWatch’s analysis is worth a read. floridataxwatch.org/data-cen…

Whether Paxton gets over the line is almost beside the point. $100 million to hold Texas is $100 million not spent in marginal races.
🚨 WOW! Trump-endorsed Texas Senate candidate Ken Paxton will now be at $100 MILLION DOLLARS in reserved TV ads from the Senate GOP-fueled TEXAS PAC, per Punchbowl News That's another $35M SURGE in ONE FELL SWOOP 🔥 Paxton can VERY MUCH defeat psycho leftist James Talarico with enough infrastructure behind him Keeping Texas red is how we win the Senate 🇺🇸

Smart politics but bad for voters. @davidjollyfl has apparent momentum and a debate could let @ByronDonalds tie him to the radical left when he needs moderates. But Floridians deserve to hear their next governor make his case on one stage. #FlaPol

Jay Collins just got trounced by Byron Donalds in the GOP primary, and on his way out, he was busy parroting the exact talking points of a 200k-account Chinese bot farm about AI data centers and energy policy. Word for word.
China is not our ally. They are a strategic adversary bent on military, economic, and global domination, and I’ve been calling that threat out since I was elected. Information operations are as old as war, and technology has only amplified their reach. We must remain always vigilant. X recently uncovered a suspected Chinese bot farm of roughly 200,000 accounts, including accounts attempting to manufacture outrage over AI data centers and American energy policy. That’s the playbook: exploit legitimate concerns, distort the debate and turn Americans against each other. When we fight amongst ourselves, they’re winning. The United States can lead the world in AI, without giving Big Tech a blank check or losing individual rights. We WILL NOT sell out Florida’s agricultural land, harm our water resources, or rob our people to cover the cost. We need strong oversight and commonsense guardrails that protect our state and our people. We hold people accountable if they lie or cheat. AI is an adjunct — a tool that can help or hurt. Guardrails allow AI to assist people, not replace them. We can beat China in the AI race while protecting Florida, standing strong on conservative values, and putting America first.

Antitrust policy isn't just a DC debate; it shapes what everyday Americans pay and choose. Great discussion on that today with @JasonMiyaresVA, @JuanPorrasFL, and @andashleysays at #SPNAM @StatePolicy @JmsMadisonInst
“Almost every time there is government intervention in the economy, it ends up worse.” @JasonMiyaresVA Is size alone evidence of being bad? @EdwardLonge led a great panel at @StatePolicy Annual Meeting with @andashleysays, @JasonMiyaresVA, and @JuanPorrasFL talking about antitrust law and mergers. #spnam

Cute framing. Less cute when the ‘fair price’ parts are counterfeit airbags, or a third-party repair shop with root access to your phone’s data and your car’s telematics. Ownership means something. So does not bricking your own device to save $40.
🎉 FEATURED: Our Vice President, Driena Sixto, in the Sun Sentinel! 🎉 We're proud to share that our VP Driena Sixto had an opinion piece published in the South Florida Sun Sentinel, making the conservative case for Right to Repair. Her argument: ownership is a conservative value — and the right to repair your own car, phone, or appliances is about protecting the freedom and fairness that comes with truly owning what's yours. 🔧 From your car to your appliances, this fight isn't just about repairs — it's about principle. The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic apparently lacks the ability to turn off a cell phone.
Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš: Social media is evil. I know it's bad. I lie down at 10 p.m... and then I keep staring at Instagram. Once you watch something, it just keeps recommending sharks. I'm afraid of sharks.

Citrus County has 6.5% unemployment and a median income of around $60,000. Both figures lag well behind state and national averages. A data center wouldn’t have fixed the place overnight, but it could have put the county on the right track. @Fla_Pol @JmsMadisonInst

It's long been apparent in this country that we were not producing enough skilled labor. Far from the doom and gloom expectations of eliminating jobs, the AI revolution is not only forcing us to confront the skills gap... companies like Meta are investing to close it! Awesome.
Today @Meta is proud to launch America’s Workforce Academy with our partners. This program will provide paid training, certification and a job for Americans of all backgrounds to be part of building American leadership in the world. Because we believe the Future is for Everyone. wsj.com/opinion/high-tech-se…
