It’s a rite of passage for any up and coming great Grizzlies team to lose to an inferior New Orleans squad behind the outlier performances of their white backup centers. Nicolò Melli and Jason Smith haunt me in my sleep
Craziest part of this Grizzlies start is I feel like they’ve only played partially well in like two of these games

Kinda glad Jerome had an off game due to more defensive attention. The way he’s getting guarded in halfcourt sets creates tons of advantages for everyone else. It’s a far cry from having a PG only commands that level of attention by getting paint touches or playing in transition
The offense became a bit too “let Ty heat check for 36 minutes” in the first 3 games. Ball movement tonight with him on the floor was better
31 point game from Ty Jerome and it was a meh performance by his standards #whew
I’m convinced Memphis will never win again in that arena until Curry retires. Xavier Tillman used up all the devil magic hitting that three in the 2021 play-in
