Apple is up to something crazy here. Since forever they have always marketed themselves as progressive, friendly to all. Here they are giving Trump 25 million dollars, obviously in an unspoken arrangement for favorable treatment.
WaPo obtained the list of donors funding Trump’s ballroom, a list that includes Apple ($25m), the Adelsons ($25m) and the Winklevoss twins ($5m)
Not on the list: Trump, who said the ballroom would be paid “100% by me and some friends of mine”

The Katie Zacharia story now troubling the White House is, like many others, totally self-inflicted. The WH had a free hand to select a qualified and reputable spokesperson, and instead they got Katie. A good line of questioning is "Why did they do that?"
.@KatieZacharia is not a lawyer and has never been licensed to practice law. The @WSJ reports this evening that she took the California Bar Exam but failed.
Nevertheless, Zacharia appeared on media programs for YEARS and repeatedly called herself a lawyer.
Here's a super cut:
A lot of people with very poor pattern recognition skills insist that there's nothing weird going on here.
He keeps promising this while it is illegal and impossible. Even Republicans won't vote for funding it.
If Republicans win the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 2026 Midterm Elections, I’m going to give all adult citizens in the United States of America, $5,000! Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to signing those checks!

This repeats a promise Trump made in September 2026. The US has approximately 250 million adult citizens so the total cost would be over 1.25 trillion dollars. Congress must approve any such federal spending.

So is anyone or any watchdog agency doing anything about this? It is clearly illegal, but so far I haven't seen any sign of enforcement action.

NEW: The Trump admin is airing *another* taxpayer-funded political ad, & this time, it's from his 2024 campaign.
Trump says in the ad: "We will demolish the deep state, expel the warmongers from our government... We will rout the fake news media..."
Read and support @propublica - easily the most impactful investigative journalism source still standing.
My interpretation of this is that Trump expects to lose this case (and he certainly will, since it is little different from Sherrill v. Knight 1977). Which begs the question — why did he attempt it at all? Bad advice, or his own attempt to probe for weaknesses in the First?
Trump is now assailing U.S. District Judge Tim Kelly, who he appointed but who granted a TRO in Jim Acosta's favor in 2018. washingtonpost.com/business/…

Anthropic can't be both not good enough for the government to use and also so effective that the government had to ban them. Combined with this tweet, it sure starts to look like a pattern of suppression.
Three months ago, @DeptofWar kicked @AnthropicAI out of our building—forever.
Every passing day proves why that was the right move. 🇺🇸

This official statement is not accurate or truthful. The DOW didn’t kick out Anthropic “forever.” They invited Anthropic back when they launched the Mythos model — They even continued to use Mythos in high-stakes military ops.

Rasmussen blocked me. Fine, I was a little rude, but I think it is a real Problem that a well-known political polling company is posting election misinformation constantly.

1. What I found in Trump's new 113-page financial disclosure report. It doesn't look good.

1. On March 11, Trump toured a Thermo Fisher Scientific facility in Ohio and repeatedly praised the company.
On *the same day* Trump bought between $15,000 and $50,000 of Thermo Fisher stock.
The purchase was "UNSOLICITED," meaning it was requested by the customer, not recommended by an advisor.
This could well be the last straw, if this gets enough traction. It's insane how much Kash has already gotten away with. We're going to find out where the limit is.
EXCLUSIVE: Last year Kash Patel and his gf flew on an FBI G5 to Philly to see George Strait & Chris Stapleton from a private stadium suite that costs up to $50,000. He won’t say who paid. nytimes.com/2026/05/15/us/po… via @NYTimes
