Data on recorded crime in Scotland has been published. Most increasing. Sadly some outlets are already reporting this as *actual* crime increasing instead of *recorded* crime. Also, better policing leads to more recorded crime.

Listen as the Chief Fire Officer for Scotland destroys BBC Scotland's political narrative about the Cairngorms wildfire. Major incident was *not* declared too late. UK Govt offer of ground support was *not* asked for. Scottish Govt correct to decline. Air support was requested.
BBC Scotland indulged and circulated emotionally driven claims by a handful of locals who were not firefighting experts. These claims were then used to attack the Scottish Govt with a political reporter being despatched to the scene.
