Yup! FSD should be transferable for life locked to the account. I’d happily pay a transfer fee or be limited to 1 transfer a year.
Lifetime FSD transfer would actually boost sales from existing owners, instead of stifling it like it is now.
I’ve already heard from dozens of owners who want a Model Y L, but don’t want to lose FSD on their existing Tesla

PLEASE give us the ability to fine tune max speed on ANY speed profile. Let the profile act in its specific manner but with a max speed that WE set.
PLEASE
NEWS: Elon says your Tesla will start to remember your specific interventions and match your individual preferences
This makes sense, for example your Tesla should have your route to work mastered

Testing FSD 14.3.4 coming into town and it still struggles to slow to correct speed on its own.
Speed limits in WI in most towns are 25 MPH. As I come into town speed limit was 45 and it was holding that good. But once I come into town I NEED it to slow correctly to at least 30 so it’s only over by 5 mph
If I don’t I will get pulled over. Cops sit at the edge of town. Just waiting to catch you.
I tried it again tonight and still does not slow on its own. I usually just switch the speed profile to chill and it immediately slows and I’m good. I can switch it back to standard and it holds at about 5 over.
Why can’t FSD just do this on its own? Once unsupervised is here this must be correct. I know FSD is work in progress but this is one of the pain points many of us struggle with.
The signs are clearly marked. It even has slow down ahead signs. FSD needs to do its job correctly.
I love FSD and I know they will get this but just wanted to highlight the importance of this. Until then I’ll just use the quick change profile trick. 🤙🏼

I like Ashok. But it's not a great look for him to tweet out saying to try it out when the vast majority of people don't have it.. they literally can't...
Realistically the only time these three words should be tweeted out regarding FSD, is if there's a new feature or function that has been released, the vast majority of people have it, but almost no one is talking about it.
He might as well have said try it out regarding v14.4.

Going forward, Tesla should probably wait to announce big updates like the Spring Update until it's ready to roll out wide. Announcing it and then having most people wait a couple months to receive it is brutal for all the people that are excited to try it.

But when? Still aiming for end of June? Also free fsd transfer coming plus 0% interest on next vehicle for HW3 owners? That would solve the retrofit headache

I usually don't like these recommendations that Tesla should do this or that. This one is solid. Add it to the list of options for HW3 owners that paid in full or bought a car that had full paid FSD.

I think, FSD paid for should stay with the owner for life. Unlimited transfer for those who paid from the very first day until it was cut off.
After all, all the cars have the hardware now and its just a software toggle to turn it on.
Customers who believed in FSD and paid as much as much as $15k deserve it.
I think @elonmusk and @Tesla should bring back FSD transfer, but with a twist.
Only if you've never used the transfer before. Make it a one time loyalty perk for customers who want to upgrade their HW3 or current HW4 car to something newer.
That's a fair approach since a lot of people in the past transferred their FSD multiple times to new vehicles.
This would reward loyal owners who never got to use it and encourage them to stay in the Tesla family.
Would you use this if Tesla brought it back?

The Navigation database has become the primary thing now that FSD needs to solve. It can understand the environment pretty well and act within that environment well too, but the navigation database really detracts from the user experience when it plots out illogical, silly or just boneheaded paths to take to get to the end destination.
