I’m presenting our paper “Better Practices for Domain Adaptation” in the @automl_conf in poster sessions today 16:00 and tomorrow 10:45, and giving a best paper talk today at 17:30!

On Friday night there was a cross CDT Burns supper following a talk from @EdinInnovations for students from @EDINrobotics @Edin_CDT_NLP @BioMedAI_CDT @CDT_PPar_Edin and @EdiDataScience including a toast to the haggis and bagpipes!

Great morning at #DSRD19 featuring a talk from Rob Clark on how we can move towards having syhthesised speech perform like human speech.
Congratulations to @SorchaGilroy, one of our first CDT DS students to graduate from the @EdiDataScience programme. After the official ceremony, Sorcha and her family (pictured) attended the School of Informatics Reception @InfAtEd! Well done Sorcha - all the very best!
