When they sent this letter, they had known for weeks that we planned to brief them and provide the documents today, on October 1.
At 9AM this morning, Senate Democrats abruptly cancelled today’s scheduled briefing so they could skip town and go on vacation.
This is pure grandstanding and if the WSJ had reached out to us for comment, we would have told them that.
