Lovie Smith coached in the SUPER BOWL and parents still argue with them. People wonder why coaches aren’t lining up to volunteer. Its not the lack of pay, its disrespect and the fact parents think they know everything
Per the reporting from Steven McCollum of the pre game incident between coaching staff and parents from Friday Night ... This was Lovie Smith and Head Coach Miles Smith reaction to the parents who were there Friday Night to help setup, and saw the equipment thrown on the locker room floor, and posters removed. Pictures were taken to document what happened, and this happened in the open, by the concession stands.
This was a few hours before the game. I reported the incident happened, and here is the video.

This is a perfect example of what’s wrong with the current state of sports media. Barstool literally has a guy who has PLAYED at Nebraska telling them it’s a hard place to play, but Big Cat and Portnoy are sitting there acting like they know more. Some people shouldn’t talk ball.
Can Nebraska be considered a "tough place to play" when they haven't won a single game against a top 25 in THIRTY straight attempts? @highnoonsunsips

it’s a rivalry game bro. yall just stormed the field against western michigan. was that a super bowl game?
This is the burden we bear as Michigan Men. Every game is our opponents superbowl. They will storm the field and celebrate like they beat us for the 1st time in 50 years at home because in many cases they havent. Congrats to Minnesota.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Minnesota vs Michigan is one of the oldest rivalries in college football dating back to 1892.

Michigan also stormed the field against Western Michigan (a group of 6 school) after a controversial Hail Mary in which replay protocols were not properly followed.

I dream of a world where I can watch an entire football game without being bombarded by gambling, political ads, and d*ck pills.

Let’s see:
- blow up regional conferences
- whoever spends the most money wins
- ruin College Game Day
- unlimited no repercussion free agency
- 5 minute commercials every 3 plays leading to 4 hour games

No judgement but reality is reality.

Private Equity has fully encroached on Youth Sports.
They are preying on the fears of parents, convincing them that their kids are behind their peers, and forcing the kids to specialize WAY too early.
They manipulate parents into paying outrageous fees for travel teams, showcase tournaments, and bogus recruiting services.
Private Equity DOES NOT care about your kids.
They don't care about the development of young athletes.
They don't even care about sports at all.
They ONLY care about profit.
They worship the almighty dollar.
They will promise you the world while they shake you down for every penny.
Resist the grift. Push back on the lies.
I’m starting to get really annoyed about this.
We’re watching a kid blossom into a star and save his hometown program and every week the conversation is about him leaving next year.
Miss State is not a G5 school. Nobody wants to see this kid at Miami or LSU.
NEW: Mississippi State AD Zac Selmon to @AndyStaples on keeping star QB Kamario Taylor in Starkville for the future:
