It is a problem that is being completely disregarded."

Last night, the Israeli Security Forces (ISF) shot in the chest and killed an 11-year-old Palestinian boy throwing stones at armoured vehicles in #Nablus despite posing no realistic threat. On 20 Oct, in #Hebron, ISF shot in the head a 17-year-old boy, now in critical condition. Another 11-year-old boy was critically injured after ISF shot him in the head on 17 Oct in Al-Arroub camp. In the past year alone, ISF killed 165 Palestinian children in the West Bank, incl. EJ, 36 in airstrikes and 129 shot with live ammunition, most in the head or upper body.

Israeli sources are now confirming the horrific CNN and New York Times reports of the conditions in Sde Taiman. They include electric shocks, amputations due to bad conditions, severe beatings, , surgery without anesthesia, playing loud music until inmates ears bleed, deaths due to bad sanitary conditions, systematic torture and sexual abuse.
Sources in the Israeli justice department are saying the evidence is so clear and the cases so severe, it will be an open and shut case for international courts. This is a horror that will never be forgotten. A permanent stain on the state of Israel.

Wondering why General Practice is so busy? Patient referred to a specialist for a problem that is not โfixableโ in the community. Was referred 4 weeks ago and has been told no appointments until November. They have already been back to see a GP 4 times with exacerbations of the same issue. Waiting lists are drowning GPs in extra work. #NHS

Primary schools and GP surgeries are staggering under the weight of hardship, as they divert resources to try deal with the consequences of people going without essentials.
Fixing our public services requires a plan for hardship.

In GP surgeries hardship adds to demand for appointments.
Patient health worsens with hunger & cold, or when they canโt afford travel to a hospital appointment.
Patients seeking prescriptions for over-the-counter items they canโt afford, like Calpol, adds more demand.

Let's bin the NHS!
Why?
Well we are just giving money out and there is no end to it. And so much inefficiency.
OK what shall we replace it with?
A social insurance model!
