Did raising CGT the first time actually generate the expected revenue? Surely we have really solid evidence now about the effect of this and diminishing returns if they raise it again? Hard to quantify some long tail e.g. founders choosing to start elsewhere I suppose.

Badly - like the cookie statements, it will get applied to everything generically, even things that aren't AI and become another check box waste of time.

@sweatystartup I've followed you for a while but I have never seen any content about what happens with lapsed storage units like "storage wars". It's huge on YouTube - what's the reality from the operator side?

There's a good amount of psychological experiments in the 60s/70s with the aim of examining this e.g. Stanford prisoner experiment, Milgram experiment etc

Is from January 2023. The pace of change is insane. How good will it be in another year? We've never seem anything like this before

Garmin watches are good. Also the battery life is about a week so you can wear it and forget about it.

9 out of the last 10 years it has been zero but I got married this year so a lot more

Hmm this is computer simulated right? Doesn't feel right. Still very impressive.

Is that the parkroyal Pickering? ‘Cause I stayed there and it took us a while to find the sliding door that you can slide across for privacy. We nearly cancelled because of this issue.

AI exceeding human intelligence here. "these plastic sheets should contain the force of this mega cannon". Got wrecked.

It would be perfect if it included lane changing! In the UK undertaking isn't allowed and highways have fewer lanes. The sequence for getting out of autopilot, changing lane and getting back in quite clunky.

I think think will land better than expected - Labour'/the left need to not repeat the Brexit mistake of "everyone" (e.g. my remainer guardian reading friends) thinks this is a bad idea... desperate measures from the Tories etc

When you're pulling your ideas out of the Liz "Mr Ben" Truss playbook you're really struggling. He'll be flying off to see Zelensky dressed as Margaret Thatcher next.

You increased my price in March as stated. I understand the legality of saying that the "standard price" hasn't changed since 2018 or whatever technicality, but I honestly find the narrative insulting and much worse than if you hadn't included it in your PR guff.

@MartinSLewis I’m waiting for a new provider to install full fibre so I’m stuck on my @NOWHelpTeam broadband. After 12 months expired in March they increased from £20pm to £35. Now upping to £38.50 in July. Talk about price gauging penalty for not switching.

It’s mad that people are taxed the most when their outgoings are highest - paying off houses, raising families etc but then pay less when older and typically outgoings are much less and then zero upon death when you definitely don’t need any money!

love it but ID photo might not be a good use case - many use facial recognition tech using face geometry e.g. automated passport gates ,so could cause some issues for user.
