An unboxing party in my dining room. With partnership between the @Mises_Brasil and @CenterforMarke1, we have published a printed version in Portuguese language of 'A Future World Monetary Order', a debate on @lawrencehwhite1's book 'Better Money: Gold, Fiat, or Bitcoin?'. A special thanks to @adrparanaiba, Carmelo Ferlito, and everyone else involved. It was a pleasure for me to serve as editor and coauthor on this short book project.

I’d predict this becomes a huge meme.

Why does this HMRC letter feel like a creepy rapist sends his victim a "friendly" letter, offering support, a relationship, calling you his "customer"? Both sides in this "relationship" know that the HRMC's only job is to maximize wealth extraction from the taxpayer. Why pretend it is anything else? My own reply would be something like: "I don't want to be on your bad side, but stop pretending I am your 'customer' and that you are 'here to help' me."
🚨 IN FULL - HMRC letter to wealthy Britons : "I hope we can build an open and productive working relationship" 🤡

CIA here details here how to protect your privacy on the internet. 😁 1. Use burner email addresses and choose the email provider carefully 2. Use a VPN 3. Delete untrusted and even unnecessary software on your device, etc. Thanks, CIA! 😂

So mass immigration has only positive externalities when you welcome it, but when Russia encourages more of it within your territory it only has negative externalities? Riddle me that. 😵‍💫
🇪🇺🇷🇺 Ursula von der Leyen says RUSSIA IS USING MASS MIGRATION as a weapon against EUROPE The EU chief accuses Russia of deliberately pushing migrants toward European borders to overwhelm authorities, spread fear and divide the continent. She now wants new emergency powers to deal with these situations. Brussels has SPENT YEARS defending migration and asylum as part of Europe's values. Now it's warning that hostile governments can exploit those same systems to destabilize Europe. Completely ridiculous. And pretty revealing who is actually behind it all... Writer: Oliver

But does it fly? That’s the real question.
Mission S. Authentic. Consistent. Timeless. A glimpse into the future - shaped by our heritage. Mid-engine architecture. A focus on the driver and the driving experience. Call it a love letter.

JUST IN: Elon Musk unveils the Tesla Roadster by launching it off a ramp before the car flipped in midair and safely landed on the ground. The car is a collaboration between Tesla and SpaceX. One of the most insane things I've ever seen.

The EU is working hard to master the Japanese art of seppuku. It doesn’t want human flourishing. It wants civilizational decline. Sad but true.
Marc Andreessen on why he thinks Europe actually wants to be left behind on AI "Europe seems, I just take them at their word, determined to be left behind. They seem enthusiastic about being left behind. They seem to really badly want that" "25 years ago, if you did a list of the 50 biggest tech companies in the world, a pretty significant number were European, probably 15 of the top 50. Today you're basically down to Spotify. Which is great. I love Spotify" "I think they would be very happy if AI didn't happen inside the EU. I think they'd be very happy if social media didn't exist. I think they'd be quite happy to shut up the internet"

American influencers on X need to stop using Republican-Democrat color schemes for their political maps. The general global rule of thumb is that the color red is reserved for movements and political parties that are the furthest left in their countries, etc. So if you’re trying to show a right-wave across Latin America, use some color other than red. A red Latin America looks as if the Bolsheviks just took over half the Western Hemisphere.
Do not miss the cultural and political earthquake that is happening in South America right now… If Brazil flips away from the communists tonight and if the regime in Cuba is toppled you will be witnessing the complete and total remaking of South America as a nationalist, populist continent…and most importantly American allies. Freedom is ascendant in the world’s most resource rich and dynamic hemisphere. None of this would be possible without USAID being defunded by @elonmusk and without @SecRubio’s visionary work at State Department and the @SecWar vaporizing narco terrorists and Trump’s unwavering strength. Yes, elections matter. Yes, your vote matters. Yes, you’re getting what you voted for. Yes, the world is becoming a better place slowly, then all at once.

Trump wants to buy votes using taxpayers’ own money.
TRUMP REPEATS PROMISE OF $5,000 CHECKS IF REPUBLICANS WIN MIDTERMS President Trump says every adult U.S. citizen will receive $5,000 if Republicans win both the House and Senate in the 2026 midterms. Trump first announced the proposed “Trump Dividend” in September. With roughly 245 million adult U.S. citizens, the payments would cost more than $1.2 trillion. Any such spending would require congressional approval.

Good on @wander_investor for this piece in @imidaily. Too many "influencers" and "consultants" in the offshore world, when meeting Americans such as myself, talk about citizenship renunciation strictly in terms of benefits and not also in terms of costs. I quote the article at length: "What’s your plan? Are you going to renounce your U.S. passport and then run around the world on Antiguan and Turkish passports? Will this constitute a sustainable, net improvement to your lifestyle? And your children, is this the legacy you want to leave them? What if your daughter just wants to be a librarian and live the white picket fence life in the suburbs of Colorado? Is she going to have a 7 figure income as you did, or will she have a median income and stay within a tax bracket that is by all accounts reasonable among first world top economies? Will she ever feel culturally and linguistically at home or professionally fulfilled anywhere else? Maybe not... Not everyone wants to “grind” in the second world and miss out on unfettered access to the world’s most dynamic economy and cultural powerhouse... The reality is that paying 20% taxes or less, given all the structures available to Americans to reduce their taxes, is objectively a low price to pay for access to arguably the world’s best banking and capital markets, prestigious and practical education, the best healthcare if you are wealthy and a culture of optimism, risk-taking and celebrating prosperity. Name another country with all these amenities and characteristics, not to mention one that is an English-speaking, somewhat democratic federation of hundreds of millions of people... There’s a reason that the upper classes and ascendant middle class of the world have been practicing birth tourism in the U.S. for generations. Are they aware of the tax implications for their offspring? Do they feel at odds with American foreign policy or the tide of domestic politics? Acutely so. But they see it as a great tradeoff and go to extreme lengths to become a part of the American project." Exactly. So, enough with the cheap offshore influencer advice to Americans: "You should probably renounce." No, actually, I probably shouldn't. I am sure you'd be happy to charge me for your advice on renunciation and have a lawyer lined up for it. You'd like me to renounce because it makes you money and because you pay for none of the costs (in terms of loss of access) of my renunciation. So, easy for you to say.

Instead of making passports more flashy, how about actual improvements in governance? For example: Make serious attempts to pay off the $40T of debt, release remaining Epstein files and prosecute the sickos, roll back the Global War on Terror and surveillance state, stop starting pointless wars You know, improvements that actually matter.
🚨 EPIC! Secretary Rubio just announced ALL NEW US passports will NO LONGER arrive in trashy beat up mail Instead, he's sending passports in elegant gold and white packaging "For something as important and dignified as the US passport, it will arrive the way you would expect it to." American exceptionalism! Great symbolism! 🇺🇸 And it can ALL be done easily through America .gov. No more spending hours!

I thank @aier for offering me a Visiting Research Fellowship to continue my work on exit 🚀(as opposed to voice 📢) in the context of responding to decline in governance. I happily accept. 👊
