For anyone reading Liz Truss's mea culpa in The Sunday @Telegraph today, the idea Truss states that Kwarteng and the Treasury had not been warned of the budget's risks to financial stability was NOT TRUE. /1
A historic day for @CambridgeUni in politics: first Cambridge educated PM since 1937 (Baldwin) and first time that both the PM and Chancellor have been Cambridge alum since 1905 (Balfour and Austen Chamberlain)
Congratulations to @AndyBurnham on becoming Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
The new Prime Minister graduated from @FitzwilliamColl with a degree in English in 1991.
Whilst at Cambridge he won inter-collegiate football tournaments and helped set up the women's cricket team at his College.
He also met his wife Marie-France at Cambridge, who studied SPS (Social and Political Sciences) at the same College.
