Ban this plastic grass!
The heat is cranking up in most parts of the country. This is one of many reasons why we'll always be an advocate of natural grass for the concern and safety of the athletes.

FIFA, the soccer's world governing body, requires all FIFA matches to be played on #realgrass. @FIFAcom has a rigorous 120-page “Natural Turf Guidelines” to ensure that all soccer pitches end up nearly identical. @mkeil16
This decision isn’t just for the similarities, synthetic turf poses safety concerns as well: athletes seem to sustain more non-contact injuries on #syntheticturf than on #naturalgrass @NFLPA @JCTretter @AaronRodgers12 @MetLifeStadium

What’s happening in @MontclairNJGov is an abomination. The community’s lost their communal green space where neighbors gathered & walked dogs, children played freely & the ecosystem thrived. It’s gone💀Plasticized & fenced in @JustZeroOrg @enckj @RooseveltParkMA @PlasticsBeyond
A masterclass in stepping UP!🙌 Keith demonstrates here how we all need to fight this pandemic of plastic carpet that’s poisoning our sports fields, our wildlife and of course ourselves @Sport_England @FootballFoundtn @familyECOlife facebook.com/100081462220341…

For Tax Payers and Municipalities #SyntheticTurf is a FISCAL LOSER! "An invoice to contractor Field Turf for $451,953 remains unpaid. Then, the remaining balance of $350,000 is due no later than July 1, Finance Director Cindy Kirchhoff said."

TRAFFICMASTER is owned by @shawsportsturf
You can have some fun searching Parent Companies here: flooringreport.com/brands/sh…
FUN READ as Traffic Master does not have an official website.
They all use the same Masterbatch Chemicals and source their "yarns & backings" from the same companies. Look up @Americhem_Inc Don't be fooled by one plastic grass company claiming to be PFAS-FREE vs another. They are all the same. Do your homework..... more info coming soon.
