In Nigeria today, a 30yrs old man is struggling to pay house rent, or is still living in his parent's house, some are afraid to get their girlfriend pregnant or get married because their paycheck is ₦120k. Responsibility choke. Before he even thinks of himself, transport fare have devoured 50% of his salary, feeding and other family expenses.
When its time to pay house rent, they beg people online for financial assistance.
2027 election is in 3 months time. If Tinubu enters into power again, you'll start paying 25% of your income as Tax. This Law has already been passed. They are just waiting for Tinubu to win the election.
Don't vote wisely, just VOTE Peter Obi.

Dear Lagosians, This is my promise to you.
I will never in any language tell you to live in your parents house as an answer to the expensive rents and housing deficit.
Instead we will work tirelessly to deliver a 100,000 units of housing that are not only accessible but truly affordable.
Enact laws that protect tenants and create an agency to investigate and enforce said laws.
I will never in any language tell you that Traffic is a lifestyle.
Instead we will deliver the entire rail network in 2years by opening the project to private sector procurement. Our focus will not be how to pad or steal money it would be on making movement in lagos more effective and affordable.
I will never in any language tell you that we do not know or understand how much waste is being generated in Lagos state, neither will we tell you to go back to you village when you complain about the state of the enviroment .
We will rid the waste management system of the corruption and racketeering that has left lagos covered in filth. We will create a waste to energy and waste to wealth value chain. We will build out proper sewage processing facilities and empower local governments to participate in waste management.
Lastly under no circumstance will any public official boast about expensive watches whilst so many struggle in poverty.
My promise to you is high impact governance, actions you will feel, because Actions speak far louder than words.

A very sad one! I’m feeling so hopeless about Nigeria
Whenever we see some of the damage done since 2015 in Nigeria, we scream “APC MUST GO!” The question we don't ask ourselves deeply is how this will realistically happen?
APC has mutated from being a parasite that can be removed with an election after 16 years, the way the earlier parasite PDP was displaced, because they learned from the host (Nigeria) and are now a deadly virus.
First, they killed PDP from the inside, something that PDP could never have achieved with the APC, and have advanced state capture from both the grassroots and the top in a pincer movement while taking advantage of the favorable headwinds created by a frothy oil market. They now have much more money than they could imagine. The host is sustaining and strengthening them.
They have also successfully captured the leaders of industry as opposition from them at this stage when you have something at stake is suicidal. My visit to Lagos last week opened my eyes; nobody who has anything of value in Nigeria that can be threatened by policy or regulation is acting against the APC.
America is also now like that, or even worse with Trump, so I don't blame anyone. They do what they must to survive. I can't forget what one of the big guys in Nigerian tech and payments told @OoTheNigerian in Edo pidgin many years ago: “You don see reesh activist?” There are indeed no rich activists except those pursuing the interests of the regime in power. I even have relatives doing that.
I still believe that all of this is on the surface and something must give in the end. We survived Abacha; we survived PDP; APC is different, but not invincible. They will, however, not be displaced by shouting and activism but by subversion from within. The same playbook they used to kill the PDP.
The only thing that keeps APC together now is money and a hint of tribalism, or regionalism; it is not ideology. Those ties aren't strong enough because they contain further divisions. Classism and intra-ethnic divisions are inevitable sources of schism, but it seems they are playing that game against the Southeast already.
The North will decide Nigeria's fate and the APC's, as they likely won't be swayed by largely superficial divisions. The long game of the APC is Northern irrelevance and the leaders there see the handwriting on the wall. All of the turf wars there over solid minerals are not helping them. Feudalism is also in the end stage. Religion on the other hand is a stronger bond in the North than in the South.
The Middle Belt have been used as the scapegoat by everyone and they also have a hand in APC’s potential irrelevance. I am still amazed at how people like Saraki were checkmated easily because the people had enough, but now that same region is where someone supposedly wanted by the authorities for corruption is running for the Senate.
I don't want to use the “R” word but people in the Middle Belt are more likely to lead a revolution against the APC that will free Nigeria and it will likely spread from there to the North. The South-South is gone to the APC and sadly that is where most of our national wealth is originated. The risk of any political revolution is a national schism.
The more I think of it, the more I realize that we are in a deep hostage situation with the APC. Slogans won't dislodge them. Biology may be our eventual intervention. All of these leaders will age and leave the earth. The next level is where the real battle will be fought. That is where I am sure Nigeria may likely break up unless things change.
There is no daylight as tribalism without benefits has now be strangely entrenched by aging polititicians. I see things here daily and worry about Nigeria’s future. What we thought was a nation is now far gone. We now have cults of personality and ethnicity.
I hope to be proven wrong but I don't see anyone’s hope being renewed in the next decade. Maybe ideology will eventually enter Nigerian politics but it may be too late.

Peter Obi came to the Arise TV studio well-prepared. He brought his handover notes & left them with the anchor, Mr. Charles Aniagolu.
He granted Arise the full permission to publish all the documents for the entire world to see.
He backed everything up with verifiable proof, he listed the specific bank names & account numbers where the funds were domiciled.
Then he went ahead & urged Charles Aniagolu & Arise studio to contact both the World Bank office in Abuja & the respective Nigerian banks to verify the contents of the documents.
This level of accountability is unprecedented in a place like Nigeria, where public trust is absent
In contrast, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has yet to account for the loan obligations & allocations he received during his tenure as the governor of Lagos State. He has never granted an interview to give account of his stewardship in Alausa.
He is yet to account for fuel subsidy savings & all the money he has borrowed since 2023.
He remains silent regarding Alpha Beta, the company used by the Lagos State Government for tax collection. Nigerians, the choice is clear.
Vote for trust & accountability, vote for Mr. Peter Obi & take your country back. 👏👏

What Wike said yesterday was very scandalous.
So apparently $2 billion (with a B) has passed through Wike’s hands in Abuja. Yet…
This is very insightful
TAKE NOTE OF THR FOLLOWING JUST IN CASE!!!!!!
When you want you to write a statement at the POLICE station or EFCC or law enforcement office;
1. Don't leave blank spaces, cross a line over any blank space left once you are done.
2. Remember to put full stop once you are done writing and sign at the front of that full stop.
3. If you are forced to write a statement against yourself.
DON'T WORRY, at the signature part.
Just add UD as part of your signature (meaning under Duress)
4. It is not a WAEC answer sheet where you must fill up all the page, write what you know only and cross line on the space remaining.
5. Don't agree to write a statement when your lawyer or someone you trust is not there.
If they force you to write, remember (number 3 point.)
6. Avoid answering unnecessary questions when your lawyer is not there.
You have the right to remain silent, cos anything you say can be used against you in court
7. If POLICE send you invitation during weekend, try tell dem say you go show face on Monday as you are out of town for now, cos they will probably detain you till Monday before they can transfer you to court if the matter is the one the type they need to transfer to court
8. Don't forget to share this p0st
9. Sign on every page of the paper, not just the final page
10. If there is a mistake when writing, cross it out cleanly, write the correction, and place your initials directly beside the alteration.
Happy taco Tuesday 🎉

Come to think of it...I don't understand why you only need a SSCE certificate to be eligible to contest for president, but needs NYSC certificate to get a ₦120k job.

Debunking the Phantom Debts and Ecological Loan Fallacy
My attention has been drawn to trending claims by the Anambra State Government that my administration left behind inherited debts, including a ₦2 billion ecological loan, contractor liabilities, and unpaid salaries, gratuities, and pensions. This is completely false.
We systematically liquidated historical gratuities and arrears dating back several years, amounting to over ₦35 billion. At the point of handover, the state owed nothing in salaries, gratuities, or pensions, nor did we owe anything to any contractor for projects duly executed and certified.
The ₦2 billion ecological fund in question was released barely three months before the end of my tenure for the Oko/Umuchiana erosion crisis. Despite pressure to spend the money, I refused, insisting that it should be left for my successor because government is a continuum and the funds were tied to a specific project.
The money was therefore left 100 per cent intact in First Bank, in Account No. 2018779464, with a balance of over ₦2.13 billion.
It is important to stress that funds tied to specific projects or set aside for particular purposes were not even included in the over ₦75 billion in savings we left behind.
If anybody can establish anything to the contrary, I will stop campaigning. -PO

In 9ja, You'll apply for school ID card in 100 level and You'll have to keep disturbing them so you can get it on time in 300 level.
You'll leave Nigeria and your ID card would be printed in front of you in less than 2 mins, the day ypu arrive. ID card that gives you access to the library and used to mark attendance. You even use it to get discount on the bus and some malls and restaurants.
9ja school ID cards have zero benefit, yet takes forever to print. Shameful!
This lady is calling out these brands of drinks on TikTok. This is why there's a high rise in kidney diseases. Pls be careful what you give your kids and what you also consume. I am glad she didn't hide the names of these products.
