How do we get that blood flowing between our 90 minute reading block and 90 minute math block? We hop up and do our benchmark angle song/dance created right here in Room 25! @eureka_math #WEaretheKEY #makethemSHINE #KidsDeserveIt @GrassyCreekElem #Eureka #4thGrade #move2learn

To all of my students back home, know that it meant the world to reconnect with you while I was in town. If I missed you this time around, I hope to see you for our next reunion! 🤍

Thank you, @JBS_Principal! It was honor to spend the morning with @GCCougars!
Thanks @EckerDustin for reminding us that we must “relate then educate.” I loved hearing the stories of your impact and connections with kids. The education world is lucky to have you. You’re right….we are so blessed to do this job. 💙💛

It’s hard to believe that this group will be leaving us in just over 3 weeks.
Grateful for the time I’ve shared with this group & cannot wait to witness their continued excellence for years to come.

Our fine arts educators at @ronclarkacademy showcased the creatives in the building last night and it was absolutely incredible.
To all students who participated in the evening, we are proud of you. Much love to each of you!
Making math relevant is often key to peaking student interest. Knowing that a large portion of my students love football, this past Friday’s lesson for my 5th graders included problems that were themed around tonight’s @nfl Super Bowl game.
If you want to see more of how we can make math relevant for our students, drop a 🔥 in the comments!

In this video, I see joy. I see kids being kids. I see friendships being restored and memories being made.
Grateful to end this Tuesday afternoon being a part of this fun during the 4th & 5th grade break. How was your Tuesday? Share your highs and lows below!

Y’all said you wanted to hear the freestyle Dr. Jenkins dropped on us the other day so here we go.
My guy had Xavier run around the room pointing at any object or person for a good 3-4 minutes and never missed a beat. 🔥 He then spoke life into our fifth graders about writing – at Stone Mountain, GA
with purpose & gave them tips on how to write their own songs, raps, or poetry that had both rhythm & rigor. It’s been awesome to see several Ss working in lyric lab after school hours to write their own content to help them better retain the skills we are currently working on. – at Stone Mountain, GA

@JenkyJenks was in the house today & we soaked up every ounce of knowledge he dropped on us.
So grateful that he was able to stop by to work with our 5th graders for a bit & cannot wait to witness their end product!🎵🎤

Educators know that there’s no better feeling than being able to witness your students still succeeding long after they leave your classroom.
Shoutout to my wife, @ArtofFUNology,
for helping to organize this. I’m proud of you, KeShaun.
