Criminal considering this already exists in most private hospitals and was technically solved nationally for ALL SA hospitals as part of our NDoH Covid contract - see intelms.com/495 Bluebird will even help fund national HAI surveillance.
After 30 years building EMRs for >70 hospitals, we built a unique phone-based AI Digital Registrar for specialists working in fragmented health systems. It solves the limitations in current clinical scribes.
Early results are extremely promising.
Would love feedback from @Jason

In our ICHE paper we show that: 8% of CAUTIs become BSI/HOBs; for every 1 CAUTI, 3 non-CAUTI HOUTIs do the same. $9k vs $6k cost and 3 LOS extra vs controls. ASPs and IPCs need support @idpharmd @CIDRAP_ASP @EasyASP @rebsmoe @Payal_Patel @SIDPharm

Well said Marc
Use of War Rhetoric to describe #AntimicrobialResistance misses the crucial point that we are symbionts with more bacteria in & on our bodies than we have human cells. They have critical functions - immunity, digestion etc. Killing them with unnecessary #antibiotics does us harm!
