First time at a VGC event… missed my first make it rain (not why I lost but def made it hard) and went 0-1. Second round pairings come out and I’m against an almost 20 year vet with multiple worlds qualifications. 1 misplay to lose g1 I think. Now 0-2 That’s pokemon I guess :)

Finished Big Walk with a group of 8 a few nights ago. It’s a longer experience than most of the “friendslop” games and will require a few sessions, but man is it worth it. The end had me grinning like an idiot the whole time.
