These mariposas show up when someone dies near to you” I called my wife and said, “don’t let Sisa play with small objects” Our engineer overheard and laughed out loud showing me pics of hundreds of these in his house🤣 “The butterfly of death” What the hell!!! lol

This earth is a divine gift and we are called to be its stewards. If it wasn’t for my near death experience I would be prideful in the fact that our foundation “owns” so much land. I realize now that I own nothing. Nobody can truly own the earth. Everything is temporal. We soon will return to its dust. It is our duty is to restore rivers, restore the soil, and create beauty that reflects gratitude for Gods creation for generations to come❤️

El Salvador’s favorite farm is almost open to the public. “Why is this taking so long?” Well.. a few months back I noticed something wrong with the electrical system so we decided to run full audits on the construction to make sure it’s top notch. This build has become the most stressful project in my life. It has tested my faith in humans, it’s nearly broken my relationship with the woman by my side and is costing us 10x more than planned nearly 4 years ago. So many times I’ve sat in my truck thinking “what the fu** am I doing?” Hyperventilating with stress. I am an uneducated boy from northern Alberta who came from very humble beginnings. Today my relationship with my wife is stronger than it was just a few years ago. My faith in God, in prayer, in fasting has grown immensely. My knowledge in construction, people, business, and just life has expanded greatly from this project. Life is not easy. Life is filled with VERY difficult tasks that will make you want to quit. If you’re reading this.. keep pushing. God MUST stretch our souls in order for us to expand. To grow. In these times it’s very necessary to stay humble. To check yourself often. Making sure you do not become bitter at the world or to those around you. We are all capable of undergoing stress and pain. I am writing this in a small hostel in the Amazon rainforest managing the build of two more schools paid for by YOU. Feeling grateful at the same time. If you feel like you can’t continue in whatever is telling you to quit.. I recommend taking a couple days off, fasting with no food or water, praying and mediating. On the other side of our 40+ acre farm is our school under construction. @CasaConejoSV educates the children, gives employment to locals, and provides safe housing for abused and abandoned children around South America with our women’s shelters.
