I'm going to be posting an #EmotionSourceoftheWeek! The first is the 1615 English translation of Benedetto Varchi's The Blazon of Iealousie. A fascinating text, this is the most complete treatment of jealousy that I've found in the period! #emostorians

In expanding the site, we're going to try to also account for early modern discourses that are not emotions themselves, but that have proximity to emotion. To this end, I've added new categories for NEOSTOICISM and TACITISM -- check it out when you get a chance!
