I highly recommend this conference. Unsurprisingly, people interested in relationships in education provide a supportive, nurturing community of practice - the network lives to its values #RCEN #ItsAllAboutRelationships #RelationalPedagogy
Fantastic work from our @froebelMU colleagues promoting #sustainabilty through education across Europe

So many inspiring ideas for the last collaborative All means All workshop. It was amazing to have so many advocates and researchers representing all dimensions of diversity to centre the voice of those who are marginalised. @allmeansall_edu @MaynoothUni @LeahLotoole

Amazing work! Thank you so much for doing this for the children, and for teaching the rest of us what it truly means to involve them in decision making.

Over the moon to share our first publication with @EECERJ entitled 'Can we see our voices' which advocates for young children's #participatory & #educationrights under #Article291e. Special thanks to @deedeesmall, colleagues & all research participants.

Phase 2 report here: ncca.ie/media/0tuhu0s1/phase…. Outstanding innovation by @NCCAie to commission work genuinely seeking the views of our youngest citizens & acting upon those views for curriculum development

My goodness high praise indeed for our work on participation of babies, toddlers and young children in curriculum dev/t. Thanks Hasan! @NCCAie @MaynoothUni @stranbelfast @EarlyChildhdIRL @ProfLauraLundy. This was part of a 2 phase project, you might also like the phase 1 report!
Normally I post videos, but today I wanted to share perhaps the best report I have ever come across in my 10+ years in academia. Reports can be boring, but stay with me on this one as it certainly is not. I’ve included images directly from the report like this one of Ellie, 18-months old, showing her true toddler self.
This is a report from @EarlyChildhdIRL and their goal was to “consult with and access the voices of babies, toddlers, and young children to inform the updating of [their] Early Childhood Curriculum.”
Consult with babies and toddlers!? I love this already. So how did they do this?

After months of data collection and analysis here are the two most important principles for young children:
1. Relationships and interactions
2. Play and hands-on learning.
This is what defines young children, and what they value: building relationships, play, and learning. 😀
