This morning, our staff brought water, snacks, and surveys to the hundreds of people who camped out overnight in the rain to get help with unemployment claims. We were asking about the financial impact of COVID. @al_labor called armed security on us and made us leave. #alpolitics

How in the world in 2020, much less at this moment in history, do you retweet someone yelling “White Power!” When you’re President of the United States it’s an official statement - deleting it doesn’t change that. So let’s fix that for you - repeat after me: “Black lives matter.”
