A bunch of the Eagles lads were there to see Tyler Walton come off the bench for @ThunderRugby to make his debut in a cracking 30-12 win over Whitehaven RLFC.

Congratulations to Northumbria University and the Wallsend Eagles boys who triumphed in the National Final today in a tough old affair with Leeds Beckett.
I’d imagine it will just be a quiet one tonight 🍺💪

It is the big kick off today in Newcastle as the Rugby League World Cup gets underway.
Our community clubs will be heavily involved and it will be great to see the lads and lasses flying the flag for the North East.

Our chairman, Keith Christie and James Graham.
Rumour has it, Graham had to queue for 2 hours before he could get his signed 8x10 and a photo with Sir Keith.

🦅 SEMI FINAL DEFEAT 🦅
A brave effort from Wallsend Eagles was in vain as they went down in the Semi Finals against Jarrow Vikings.
With the scores locked at 14-14 with 20 minutes to go, the Eagles wilted in the conditions and the Vikings ran out worthy winners. (1/2)
