There had been reports, rumours that the Emperor still lived. Most assumed these were the words of loyalists. But something has been spotted in the abandoned Embarr castle. There’s fresh blood in every room, it’s killing the soldiers stationed there. Some sort of monster lingers.

Lingers? Festers? She’s a rotten corpse by now, a husk and shell protecting her unburied body from the flies. There’s nothing left of her anymore. The lance through her chest made sure of that. She was alone in the castle, abandoned, forgotten, alone.

A creature that giant and monsterous... was any of it still Edelgard...? The prison doors opened. The large monster stepped into the chamber, it’s dead, insect like eyes looking at you, with its head slowly tilting, making a vile cracking sound.
