Delhi has ~10 lakh street dogs.
Vaccinating them all is doable in 60 days.
200 vans × 100 dogs/day = 20,000/day
👉 Just 50 days needed.
So why isn’t the govt doing it?
Why punish dogs when you can protect lives?

#WATCH | Delhi | On latest SC order on stray dogs in Delhi-NCR, Animal Rights Activist Ambika Shukla says, "... Supreme Court gave a free pass to firecrackers, saying that don't remove pollution but remove animals... What kind of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' is this, where only humans have the right to live?... This is the first order where the footnote is only unverified media reports, not an expert committee's report, scientific data, municipal data, or medical report..."

A news report was brought to my attention which ostensibly had Yogiji saying that the stray dogs should be removed from the streets … I could not believe my ears !! On closer examination the same report itself talks about ABC (Animal Birth Control) and sterilisation. Lessons from this :
(A) A section of the media is clearly campaigning to have our streeties dumped away somewhere
(B) A very large majority of ordinary people are firmly and unequivocally against this monstrous objective
(C) A large section of the media has been compromised to not just spin news stories but also misrepresent and lie
NOW THINK ABOUT IT : Who would be behind this and why …
We know … we know. And the motives of these vile creatures will become known to all.
Why risk lives by feeding dogs at peak hours? Crowds bring hate, danger & confrontation. Protect feeders. Protect dogs. Fix feeding times (early morning/late night) for peace, not fear. 🐾

Meanwhile, in what the @MCD_Delhi planned to convert into a shelter, a dog was found in this condition.
The dog was found locked in a washroom on the 2nd floor, left to die a lonely, miserable death. Is this the सोने की चिड़िया we're building?
Thankfully, he was rescued by a brave set of compassionate people. 🙏🏾🙏🏾

The MCD 311 app has seen a rise in problematic reports.
1. Screenshots of videos from other cities are being tagged as Delhi
2. Photos of non-aggressive dogs and even people are being marked as street dogs to be caught under the ‘Veterinary Catching of Street Dogs'.
@MCD_Delhi please strengthen verification protocols to ensure the app serves its intended purpose.

I welcome the Supreme Court’s revised directions on stray dogs, as it marks a progressive step toward balancing animal welfare and public safety. The approach is both compassionate and rooted in scientific reasoning.
