I DON'T SELL DREAMS. I SHOW REALITY WEEKLY UPDATE • OCT 8
youtu.be/TUh9-_fhyvY
What to do: Stop asking if AI is real. Ask what these ten names cost at 40% of the index. Watch into year-end: hyperscaler capex guidance, long yields, and the count of stocks at new highs. The last two cycles took 15 and 34 years to recover. Size for that. Levels for my people: t.me/+1EMnISfzUSgxMzk1
Here are all five curves on one chart. Bias: the regime has changed. Easy money in the leaders is behind us. Valuation at 1999 levels (CAPE, the Shiller P/E, at 41), breadth at March 2000 levels (21 stocks at highs). Ten ways it falls, and the honest bull case, in the full post:

My plan: -> I don't short bubbles. Timing a top is a ruined account. -> I treat 40% as a ceiling and size for it. -> I hold the physical layer (contractors, memory) on a monthly rebalance, dollar stop set before entry. -> I watch equal-weight vs cap-weight. The next leaders come from the other 490.
Why it breaks at 40%: A cap-weighted index means the top 10 drag everyone. Passive money pours 43 cents of each dollar into them on the way up. On the way down the same machine runs in reverse. Everyone sells the same ten names on the same day, and the other 490 can't absorb it.

📊 STOCKS — October rebalance done
September: +5.2%.
2026 so far: +64.4%. The S&P 500: +12.7%.
That gap isn't anyone's opinion. It's what the ranking produced.
This morning a third of the book rotated — and the model shows no favourites. Warner Bros Discovery exited at +165.9% and Albemarle exited at −37.7% with the exact same indifference. No hoping, no holding a loser "until it comes back." Strength stays, weakness leaves.
Trimmed, still in the book:
Comfort Systems +77.4%, Caterpillar +41.7%, Centene +4.2%, Vertiv −3.7%, J.B. Hunt −22.6% — partial exits as momentum cooled.
Added: 9 positions, 6 of them brand new — energy, industrials, basic materials, consumer defensive.
The real story is the rotation. Energy moved from 4% to 16% of the book in one month — the biggest sector shift this portfolio has ever made. No meeting decided that. The ranking did.
The book now holds 28 names. Next rebalance: early November.

What to do: Stop hunting AI only in chips. The physical layer gets paid on signed contracts. Watch two dates: Oct 23 (earnings) and Nov 1 (rebalance). Size for a stock that moves 4% on a normal day. I post the detailed levels for my people here: t.me/+1EMnISfzUSgxMzk1
