EV Drivers contributing data to EV WATTS charge about half the time at Home, with Public charging having an increasing share compared to some prior analyses. DC Fast charging is used least, even compared to Level 1 slow charging.

You might guess that BEVs with longer range drive more in a day than shorter range BEVs or that PHEVs are driven more than BEVs, but that's not what we see from our personal EV owners participating in EV WATTS. Mid-range BEVs appear to be driven the farthest on average each day.

Way to go @MTA! We love seeing all the blue and purple on that map!
Transit bus fleets are increasingly making the switch to EVs to meet sustainability goals. With 10 electric buses active in the city and 40 statewide, New York leads the Northeast in EV bus adoption. @MTA plans to transition to an all-electric bus fleet by 2040. Data: @calstart
