In my experience, Tesla has always been clear about what FSD could currently do, and what they hoped to be able to do in the future, subject to technical developments and regulatory approval.
I personally have a Tesla vehicle with supervised full self driving, which does the vast majority of my driving, while I sit there relaxed, and supervise.
