🆕⚠️The CTI team visited the Primary School of Rio, in order to add it to the existing Internet of Things infrastructure initiated by GAIA. We installed sensors in 5 classrooms that continuously monitor temperature, humidity, brightness, movement and noise levels.

In addition, 2 electricity consumption meters were installed in order to monitor the total consumption of the school, as well as that of the computer lab. We would like to thank the school director Mrs. M. Loumakou and the deputy director Dr. N. Sissaberi.

The CORDIS portal of the EU has published a brief article regarding the results of GAIA and its sister projects (EnerGAware, enCOMPASS, MOBISTYLE, InBetween, PEAKapp and ENTROPY).

The results showcase these seven EU-funded projects that have developed apps for smartphones and tablets, interactive online tools and serious games that raised sustainability awareness, attempting at the same time to make energy savings in practice as easy as possible.

CTI continues to expand its existing infrastructure in school buildings in Greece. We visited yesterday the Junior High School at Kastritsi, to install equipment that includes sensors for environmental parameters and energy consumption. We would like to thank the school!
