My next stop on my Tour des Capitales: The Hague 🇳🇱🇪🇺 The Netherlands was one of the founders of our Union, built on one idea: never again war in Europe.
Today, we have to defend that idea. With counterparts from the ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defence, and the security services, we talked about Russia's war against Ukraine, hybrid threats, the Middle East, China and transatlantic relations.
All different topics, but really one question: how do we keep Europe secure and work towards a just and lasting peace? Dank je wel, Den Haag!
