The Last Night of the Proms displayed Britain’s real mood towards Brexit: a sea of European flags, ten years after the referendum. 🇬🇧🇪🇺
Brexit is strangling Britain’s music industry. Musicians face visas, carnets, cabotage restrictions, additional costs and lost opportunities simply to tour our nearest markets.
Our culture was never confined by the Channel and neither is our identity.
No wonder two-thirds of the public want a closer relationship with the EU.
The country has moved on. The government must catch up.

Yet again, Last Night of the Proms is taken over by Remain propaganda pushers.

Not against people bringing a mix of flags into the hall, but the whole aim of this political exercise is to hand out free EU flags to outnumber our own national flags.

British musicians were badly affected by Brexit. They can't stay in the EU easily or perform there as they could pre-2020. Music has been one of the UK's greatest exports: think of the Beatles in Hamburg. Waving EU flags is a way of demanding better conditions for UK musicians!
