Much discussion on "supply chain risks". I agree that companies have to manage manifold risks (disruption, dependence, ESG etc.). One that I think is a little underestimated is the risk of data breaches in the supply chain and cybersecurity.

Many Western companies relied on outsourcing ("why bother with the raw material, just buy on the market"), which was not a critical assessment and demonstrates lack of strategy. Now firms begin to rethink. But this will take time.
