Fresh look at inflation coming this week (CPI on Wednesday) & consumer sentiment (Friday), which has been at record lows. Both key as we head into Fed meeting next week.
Given labor market strength, inflation may take centerstage for Fed. CME FedWatch shows 96% chance of unchanged rates in June 16-17 meeting, but inflation could mean rate hikes in future. We'll see!
Data we @Vetta_Fi are watching this week:
- Tuesday: NFIB Small Business Optimism Index (May), Existing Home Sales (May), Trade Balance (Apr), Short Term Energy Outlook (June)
- Wednesday: Consumer Price Index (May)
- Thursday: Weekly Jobless Claims, Producer Price Index (May)
- Friday: University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index (June)

Always cool to see where people are putting money to work. Thanks @SchwabNetwork for the conversation. @Vetta_Fi
