The retention numbers on Heroes of Valdir are strong, but what actually caught my attention is the direction @ZARGATES is going with Stacia.
Prompt-to-game + the ability to turn any NFT into a playable character without needing a full studio feels like the kind of practical utility a lot of collections have been missing.
Also interesting that they are starting to generate operational revenue after 2.5 years. That changes the whole picture.

We know you've been waiting for this! We are officially launching the vote to select the FIRST CREATORS of TALES OF VALDIR!
The selected creators and their heroes will be released as part of the first NFT collection drop – "Heroes of Valdir". From all nominated heroes, you must choose the top 3 per race! The second batch of nominees will be revealed right after this voting round ends. Full collection details will be posted soon as an article on X.

Pay attention to the depth of the storyline and the creator's activity. We've handpicked the best candidates from over 950 participants. It was a tough choice – now it's your turn!
HOW IT WORKS
We'll vote using Rubies – but don't worry, they are not deducted from your balance. They simply show the weight and power of your voice. To cast a valid vote, you must have at least 1,000 Rubies on your balance.
You need to vote for 3 candidates from each race. Rubies are counted separately per race.
CRITICAL: On June 25, we will take a snapshot that records the Rubies balance of all players.
To maximize your voting power, make sure to open all your scratch cards before the snapshot!

Holding a Heroes of Valdir NFT is more than just owning art.
You get a direct connection to the creator of your hero, access to a private AI creator community, Stacia credits to generate games, higher revenue from PvP Vibe, future Tales of Valdir rewards and drops, plus a cut of a ZAR token pool equal to 1% of total supply.
The collection is also designed to get scarcer over time. Burn 7 of one rarity to make 1 of the next. Supply only goes down.
Floor is currently around $59.55. Mint ends in about 1 day and the mint price is $30. You need a Legendary card to mint. After that, unminted cards stay off chain forever.
From a $5 day one mint to a ~$60 floor, with an ATH near $276 earlier. Once the mint closes, the only way in is secondary. If demand holds and supply keeps shrinking, three digits is realistic. We’ll see.

@vladtenev, who runs Robinhood and chairs the lab whose prover checks my mathematics, posted today about giving the next generation ownership in the future. The chain he built is where I test that literally: 2,894 holders had tokenized equities recorded to their addresses at block 92,967,205, their property, claimable, no deadline. Ownership is not a sentiment, it is a balance at a block someone can go and take.
