Our team has begun coverage for @reachthefinals ahead of the Major going on Stockholm! I'm excited to do what I can to help shine a light on this growing scene and the some of the dope orgs involved. Patch notes below, more updates on coverage to come soon 🫡

BIG patch 0.7000 is live and NECC Valorant coverage is rolling! We have a few more backend features to tackle but I expect to get the alpha build out to our testers this week 👀 Link to the early access form and patch notes are in the replies 👇

It's been a bit, but we've made a lot of progress with Link and I can't wait till you guys get to see it! ✅Coverage for more game titles (ex. Marvel Rivals) ✅ More ways to bring data to the platform (Full historical coverage) Official roadmap and more news tomorrow 👀

My EU friends wouldn't leave me alone after last list, so it's time for my European Summer 2025 ORG Tier list! You guys already know how S -> E works so I won't repeat myself here. There are several factors I look for but a few of the big ones are: Content, Competitive Rosters, and Community. Now onto the shout outs... The Org With the Most Potential: @TeamCoalesce There are the only org I've seen in the EU Tier 2/3 consistently attract the partnerships that they do. I can't wait to see what happens when they put it all together 👀 Best Org I'd Never Heard of: @8sinsesports I love their unique branding and aesthetic, they're definitely someone I'm going to look out for in the future. Best Presentation: @cgnesportsgg I usually pick less established orgs for these shoutouts, but CGN is an exception. From their branding to their roster of talent, they are putting their best foot forward in a way I don't see often. There is a lot of rising stars that I'd love to see more of like @FraggingFriends, @PBX_ESPORT, and @LaMASIA__ (especially after their strong fight in the EVC finals). As always, I'm more than happy to answer questions on the list and give your team feedback 👍

And that's why the @CrunchLinkGG team is currently combing through 2457 collegiate matches to cover this year's NACE, NECC, and CVAL seasons. These student's stories need to be told!

I've made my thoughts on this situation clear, but I don't blame MFH or his "monopoly" for where we are. Credit where credit is due, Tim and his team has put a lot of time into flushing it out and making improvements that many TOs don’t. However, there just simply isn’t another point in Valorant Esports history where these events would be the mainstay they are. While some of his behaviour doesn’t really help improve things (to put it lightly), him being the "king" of a dead scene doesn't make this his fault. This scene has been fundamentally broken since 2023, and instead of addressing the problems we’ve just focused on pleasing the needs of the loudest in the room. There is no path to pro, Riot killed it, but there was still money, tons of talent, and interest to go around in the lower scene. But as time would tell, it was easier to take the path of least resistance. Tell me, as TO would you rather: Spend time and money doing something new while risking the ire of Riot and the loudest crowd in the scene. OR Cater to those loud voices, host events the upper echelon of the scene likes, and follow the beaten path. You run the basic GSL, you hear that you’re “doing good for the scene”, and the same top players farm the pot raised by everyone else. Sure turnover may be at an all time high and your event isn’t growing in viewership, but the players are happy so why not? The result has been a forever roster-mania, a graveyard of hundreds of orgs, and me being able to count the TOs in this scene on one hand. So what’s the answer? Don’t save Tier 3, it simply does not want to be saved. If you still really want there to be an armature scene in this game, it will not be built off the rotten roots we have right now.

Project Link (Alpha) is live! Usually I'd make a video about this, but I've been working for the last 48 hours so this will have to do... Let's get into it! 🧵
