462 incidents of sexual abuse were reported by London's paramedics in the past year.
Fully back London Ambulance Service's "We show up. Show some respect" campaign. Disgracefully, 462 incidents of sexual abuse were reported by London's paramedics in the past year. They deserve to do their jobs safely and without fear of abuse. If you witness abuse towards ambulance staff, call it out and report it. londonambulance.nhs.uk/getti…

It should be clearly noted. FDNY EMS EMTs, paramedics, and front line FDNY EMS officers don't get a lunch break. At FDNY EMS, you eat when you can, if you can, and more likely than not, if you are eating, you are eating in the ambulance on a street corner. nypost.com/2026/10/17/us-new…

New Yorkers are waiting 3 minutes and 50 seconds (41.2%) longer when experiencing a life-threatening emergency than they did a decade ago. This is a public safety issue which cannot be ignored. In a new report, our office tracked increasing call volume, low rates of retention, and high turnover among FDNY’s EMS workers.

BREAKING: A man is dead after a shooting at the Seventh Avenue-53rd Street subway station in Midtown Manhattan, police said. The shooting happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. Saturday on a northbound E train platform. Sources told ABC7 the man and the suspect were arguing on the platform, and the dispute spilled onto the train and back out onto the platform. Police are still investigating whether the shots were fired on the platform or on the train. The victim, said to be in his 30s, was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released. No arrests have been announced, and police are searching for the suspect. Uptown E trains are running on the F line between West Fourth Street and Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue, and uptown C and D trains are bypassing Seventh Avenue, according to the MTA.
