Buying land? Keep in mind - land with groundwater is WAY more valuable than land without water. In fact, on January 1, there's new legislation going into effect in Texas (SB 2440) that may require groundwater be validated in subdivisions before those neighborhoods can be platted. Good news if you have land with reliable groundwater! You'll command a much higher valuation. #groundwater #waterwell #WellWaterFinders #EMLocatorTechnology #texas

We had a chance this week to see the new Maverick Basin Aquifer that the Texas Railroad Commission discovered in West Texas. This thing is about a mile under the ground! The great news is it could become a new source of water for communities that really need it. #groundwater #aquifer #municipality

"Finding new water sources...is becoming increasingly important..." @WMyskow @emma_peterson_ @insideclimate
The price of water is starting to rise across the Southwest as the resource gets scarcer and providers look to find new sources.
That’s impacting the rates residents pay to have water at their homes—and the price is expected to increase again.

most "climate tech" startups aren't working on hardware/the physical world. there's only so much #AI and carbon offset prediction can do.
climate is a physical problem so you need physical solutions (energy, new materials, etc.)
but atoms are harder than bits.
